🏆 Memorable Moments: Top 5 Sweet Scenes from Descendants of the Sun 🏆

Descendants of the Sun is a Korean drama that first aired on February this year. It has gained widespread popularity all over the world. Last week, I shared with you a review of this drama. For this post,  I`ll be sharing with you my favorite sweet scenes from this TV series.

1.) "Forget This"

Despite the thrilling activities going on, this scene is particularly the top sweet scene on this list because Captain Yoo Si Jin (played by Song Joong Ki) showed his loving care and comfort towards the abducted Dr. Kang Mo Yeon (played by Song Hye Kyo) especially when he covered her eyes and told her to "forget" what was about to happen at 1:30 to 2:22 [of the video]. If you remember their first split in the drama, Dr. Kang Mo Yeon expressed that she and Captain may have different ideals since Dr. Kang Mo Yeon`s a doctor who diagnoses, treats and heals people while Captain Yoo Si Jin is involved in a profession that may require him to kill. This scene is appealing as it showed Captain Yoo Si Jin`s thoughtfulness and protectiveness towards Dr. Kang Mo Yeon`s sensitive feelings and "innocence" regarding the situation.

2.) "Car Wash with a Splash"

This was one of the top sweetest scenes mainly because the carefree, happy and lighthearted part of Captain Yoo Si Jin and Dr. Kang Mo Yeon`s relationship can be seen. For a military man who dealt with troublemakers and dangerous gangs in Urk, Greece, he looked like a big baby needing a warm hug from Dr. Kang Mo Yeon.

3.) "Where Does It Hurt?"

In this scene, Dr. Kang Mo Yeon retreated Captain Yoo Si Jin`s injury. As they chatted, the comfortable and easy exchange was very evident. Both of them showed careful spontaneity about their newly found attraction. This is a simple scene yet it plays an important role in building up their blossoming romance.

4.) "Landmine"

In this scene, Captain Yoo Si Jin expressed his stereotypical "manly" antic by giving Dr. Kang Mo Yeon quite a scare with a supposed landmine. Despite the stunt, digging deep into this scene might make us realize that Captain Yoo Si Jin`s teasing may be a sign that Captain`s naturally and intentionally giving her his attention to show his affections.

5.) "Meeting Him"

Warning: *SPOILER ALERT* (If you haven`t seen the drama, please skip this last number)

When Dr. Kang Mo Yeon saw Captain Yoo Si Jin, she tried to rush to get to him but she fell down on the way. Captain, being the caring man that he is, immediately took off running to her and helped her up. This small gesture was sweet and the "meeting" says it all.
